Have you been wanting some help in growing your business or leveling up some of your skills as an entrepreneur?
Marissa McGarry is an enthusiastic advocate for creativity, filmmaking, and storytelling.
She currently runs and operates Maypop Media with partner and husband Mitch McGarry.
She produces content for social media, podcasts, marketing, events and weddings.
Marissa recently produced and edited her first documentary film showcasing some of the stories of Downtown Elizabethton which premiered at the Historic Bonnie Kate theatre.
What started as making youtube videos in high school, to supplementing her income as a music teacher- has now transformed into a full time career over the last 8 years.
Marissa would love to help mentor you in your video shooting and editing, some photography basics, social media and content creation, and running a successful business as a full time creative.
All mentorships are required to start with a 1 hr virtual meetup!
From there more options can be discussed for in-person job shadowing or more virtual sessions depending on needs from the chat.
Marissa shoots primarily on Canon Gear and edits in Adobe Lightroom for photos and Final Cut Pro Software for video. She is most familiar with the Apple ecosystem for phone content and computer editing.
